CME programme / knowledge test / certificate
How do I obtain CME credit points? You will be credited with CME credit points by correctly answering at least 70 % of the questions in the knowledge test. We will provide you with a video in which the subject content is explained in advance. The certificate for the CME credit points you receive will be sent to you by e-mail after you have passed the knowledge test.
What is the CME Archive? Our programmes are certified by the Medical Association of Baden-Württemberg. The certification period is 12 months. Within this period you can be credited with CME credit points for the knowledge tests you have passed. Once expired, the programme is moved into the CME Archive. In this case you can watch the video, but no more CME credit points are credited for the programme.
What is the knowledge test and why do I need it? The knowledge test verifies whether you have understood the subjects presented in the video. Only if you answer at least 70 % of the questions of the knowledge test correctlyis the test is considered passed and you are credited with CME credit points for the programme. If you should fail the knowledge test on the first attempt, you may repeat it once more.
How often may I repeat the knowledge test? If you should fail the knowledge test on the first attempt, you may repeat it once more. If you also fail the second time, you will unfortunately not be able to tackle the test again. Once you have passed the test and been credited with CME credit points, you cannot repeat the knowledge test either.
Do I get the CME credit points automatically credited? If you have given us your 15-digit SEN (Standardised Education Number) during registration, you will automatically be credited with the points. After passing the knowledge test you will receive your certificate by e-mail for download. If you haven’t given us your SEN, you can submit this certificate to your (regional) medical association and the points will be credited.
How long does it take to submit the CME credit points to my (regional) medical association? We will submit your CME credit points to the German Medical Association (Bundesärztekammer) if you have agreed to the submission. Submission of your CME credit points to the relevant (state) medical association can take up to 14 days, after which you find the CME credit points credited to your account established with your (state) medical association. The certificate is evidence of the successful completion of the training or of your CME credit points, regardless of the electronic transmission of your CME credit points to your (state) medical association.
How do I receive my certificate? You can download the certificate directly from targolearn after passing the knowledge test. You will also receive an e-mail to the e-mail address provided including a download link.

How do I register? You can register with targolearn by clicking on the LOGIN button on the homepage. In the following login screen, there is a Register button at the bottom right. When you click on it, a screen opens for you to register. After you have sent the registration, the system will send you an automatically generated e-mail with the password assigned to you. You can change this password at any time.
How do I get my login data? You will receive your login data automatically by e-mail after sending the registration. This e-mail will contain your login name, which is the email address you used to register, and the password generated for you. You can change this password at any time.
Why did I not receive an e-mail? The e-mail including the login data is automatically generated and sent by the system, so it may end up in your spam folder/junk mail folder. Please check your spam folder to see if you have received an email. In case you have not received an email from targolearn, please contact our technical support team at
mail@targolearn.de.
I have forgotten my password. What should I do? When you click the Login button on the platform, the login screen opens. You will find the Forgot Password button in the lower left corner. When you click on it and then enter the e-mail address belonging to your account, a new password will be sent to you by e-mail. You can change this password at any time afterwards.
How do I change my password? After you log in to targolearn, the Change Password button will appear in the webpage headline, just to the left of the Logout button. After clicking it you can set a new password.
How do I change my personal data? If your personal data has changed since you registered with targolearn, please inform us of these changes by e-mail to
mail@targolearn.de. We will record these changes in your user account so that the data in your certificate is always up-to-date.
What are the technological requirements of the website? targolearn is web-based and runs on all current webbrowsers. The website can be viewed on PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones equipped with online access. You need the appropriate software to play the videos, but in most cases you will find it already installed. Should you still have problems with the platform, please contact us by e-mail at
